100 Places On My Travel Bucket List

Where next for our intrepid explorer?

Where next for our intrepid explorer?

Bucket lists. In the 21st century, where we’re all obsessed with fulfilling ourselves and trying everything once and living for the weekend and, of course, FINDING OURSELVES, we love to make bucket lists. I’d tried before, only to password-encrypt the Word document lest my parents hack my laptop and find out unsavoury things I want to try before my tragic death and forget the password. Then Becky (last spotted on this blog here) suggested I make one because she was, and aim for 100 things.

So, thinking this was a brilliant idea, I began one. And after 7 things, I was stumped. After trawling some bucket list inspiration websites for, er, inspiration, I’d made it to 33, and I reckon I can make it to 50 yet. But I held off from wantonly listing places I wanted to go to, because I knew it would dominate the list. And I wasn’t wrong, because by the time I’d finished making a separate list, I’d made it to 99 before taking a breath. And when I took a breath, I knew what the 100th should be.

So here we are! I’ll cross them off as I go along. In the meantime, I’ve linked every city to Google Image pictures so you can see what they look like without me plagiarising anyone; the places in bold are my current top 10 must-sees.
